Hello,
Are you an Australian resident aged over 18 years? Are you interested in travel, and do you use online media to access or share stories about travelling?
If so, we're interested in your thoughts!

We’re preparing to launch a new kind of social networking website called Staywild.com.au, designed as a place where the community of independent travellers and adventure-seekers can write about and share their experiences.
We'd like to invite you to participate in the testing and early research stage of our website. This would involve registering at staywild.com.au, creating a profile, posting some content, commenting on existing content, and visiting the site a second time. Contributors retain copyright on their content under our Creative Commons licence.

The first 100 registered users to complete the above and our 5-10 minute questionnaire will be sent a $50 Myer voucher. Questionnaire answers will remain anonymous, participant information will only be used to mail vouchers.
This questionnaire is part of a larger study on the use of niche social media. It is being undertaken by researchers at the Queensland University of Technology, and is funded by the Smart Services Cooperative Research Centre (http://www.smartservicescrc.com.au/). Your participation will help to increase understanding of the challenges and the strategic opportunities for online news and information service provided.

To participate go to staywild.com.au before 17 October 2011. Click ‘register’ to begin. The questionnaire will be live on Monday 19 September. A link will be available on Staywild.com.au, however questionnaire invites will be sent to the first 100 registered users.
