Sick of backbreaking, badly paid farm work? I was!

Struggling to find fruit picking or farm work work in Australia? Or are you sick of being taken advantage of by farmers and agencies by being paid next to nothing for your hard labour? After four weeks of picking and packing several different fruit and veg we had had enough. Each job was as bad as the last. Backbreaking, soul destroying work for around $25.00 for a full day’s work = JOKE.

We came to Australia to travel but found ourselves stuck in a rut where we only had just enough cash to cover the rent and a box of goon (on a good week!).

Somebody at our hostel suggested we could make money online. Bit apprehensive at first but we had nothing to lose and now we are travelling wherever we want by spending a few hours online whenever we run out of cash.

We’re not making millions, but we are making enough to travel, party and visit the “must see” places in Oz.

All you need to get started is:
Internet access and email
Australian address (hostels are ok)
A PayPal account

The website is called http://www.quicksurveys4cash.com. Basically all you do is register with all the different survey sites and get paid to fill in different surveys (usually market research stuff).

If you have a few hours a week to sit down and complete surveys it works out about $30ish per hour (depending how many you complete). Some surveys are a bit boring but it beats getting up early and picking fruit for $25.00 per day and getting shouted by farmers all day, telling you to go quicker!

My boyfriend started doing the competition ones as well and he ended up winning some vouchers for Coles =)

I hope this helps you out like it did for me. We’re all in the same situation here, having no money isn’t fun and there are easier ways to make money than waking up at 5am for back breaking, badly paid farm work.
